I’ve spent thousands of hours behind the mic, and I feel right at home whether hosting news or classical music:
I go beyond the typical station break so the station feels like more than just a relay for national programming, It’s “…Morning Edition from NPR and (in this example) WBHM.” As you’ll hear, the reference to Region’s Field and Birmingham’s minor league baseball team’s mascots, gives listeners a true local moment and makes for great content.
I authored 29 concert scripts and served as host for this broadcast, which combined insights from musicians with accessible commentary to create listener-friendly content.
